By using GEOlikeaPro you also agree to our Terms of Use, which include important disclaimers about the Service.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and optionally your store or brand name. We use this to operate your account and send product updates.

We may also collect anonymised usage data and aggregated third-party data for market research purposes. This data is used to improve our products and understand market trends.

GEO Audit Tool

The GEOlikeaPro tool stores the following data locally in your browser only using localStorage:

  • Your OpenAI API key
  • Your last few audits (brand, query, SOV score, citation count) for Query Log
  • Your theme preference (light/dark)

We never transmit this data to our servers. Content you enter in the tool is sent directly from your browser to OpenAI using your own API key.

GEO Toolkit Chrome Extension

If you use the GEO Toolkit Chrome extension, it sends the URL of the page you are viewing to geolikeapro.com for analysis when you click "Scan" or "Analyze." For the Brand Monitor feature, it also sends the search query and brand name you enter. This data is processed in real time to return results and is not stored on our servers. We log your IP address solely for rate limiting (to prevent abuse) and do not link it to any personal information. The extension stores only a usage counter locally in your browser; no cookies or tracking scripts are used.

Analytics & Google services

We use the following analytics and Google services to measure and improve our website:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) - collects page views, device information, and anonymised IP addresses to help us understand how visitors use our site
  • Google Search Console - provides search performance data for our website
  • Google Ads - used for advertising and conversion measurement, including Enhanced Conversions and Offline Conversion Import (see below)
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics - privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that collects page views, referrers, and device information

Google services are provided by Google Ireland Limited and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Cloudflare Analytics is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Data transferred to Google may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Consent Mode & cookieless measurement

We use Google's Consent Mode v2. Until you make a choice on the cookie banner, all advertising and analytics consent signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) are set to denied. If you decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are set; Google may still receive cookieless conversion pings without identifiers, used only in aggregate for modelling. If you accept, those signals are upgraded to granted and the standard Google Analytics / Google Ads cookies are set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage and refreshing the page.

Enhanced Conversions for Leads

If you accept cookies, when you create an account or convert on our site we send Google Ads a SHA-256 hash of your lower-cased email address alongside the conversion event. The hash is irreversible and is used by Google solely to match the conversion to your prior ad click for measurement and bidding. We never send your email in plain text to Google Ads. This processing is performed under your consent and Google's EU User Consent Policy.

Offline Conversion Import

If you arrived at our site via a Google Ads click, your browser stores the Google Click Identifier (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid) in localStorage so we can attribute later conversions back to the ad. When you convert (sign up, generate your first FAQ, or subscribe), we upload that click identifier together with a SHA-256 hash of your email address to Google Ads via its Offline Conversion Import API. This upload only occurs if you have accepted cookies and granted ad measurement consent. The hashed email is processed by Google as a joint controller for advertising measurement under the same EU User Consent Policy referenced above.

Third-party services

  • OpenAI - content you submit is processed by OpenAI under their privacy policy
  • Google - Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Google Fonts. All governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Google may log requests and set cookies for analytics and advertising
  • Supabase - handles user authentication, stores your email address, auth tokens, and session data. Google OAuth sign-in flows through Supabase. Governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy
  • Tally.so - waitlist and contact forms; collects form submission data (email, brand name) and may set its own cookies. Governed by Tally's Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare - hosting, DNS, and web analytics. Cloudflare may log request metadata. Web Analytics is cookieless. Governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy

Cookies & local storage

We use the following cookies and browser storage:

  • Google services (Analytics, Ads) - set cookies for traffic measurement and advertising. These are only activated if you accept cookies via our consent banner
  • Supabase - uses cookies and tokens for authentication sessions
  • Tally.so - may set cookies on form submissions
  • Cloudflare Analytics - does not use cookies (cookieless analytics)
  • localStorage - used for tool preferences (API key, theme, checklist state), cookie consent choice, UTM attribution parameters and Google Ads click identifiers (gclid / gbraid / wbraid). The click identifiers are only forwarded to Google Ads if you accept cookies; otherwise they remain in your browser only

Public badges

If you choose to create a badge, we publish a page at geolikeapro.com/badge/ that shows your brand name and your visibility scores (your GEO Visibility Index and Vitals). We never include your email address or account id, and badge pages carry a noindex tag so search engines do not list them. You can remove a badge at any time from the tool, or by emailing us; removal takes effect immediately and the public page stops resolving. Deleting your account removes your badges.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification - request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion - request deletion of your personal data (including your account)
  • Opt out of analytics - decline cookies via our consent banner, or clear your browser's localStorage to reset your preference
